Happy Canada Day post! What's more Canadian than snowy winters? Here is a short poem as a cool down for the summer heat. Enjoy!
Avalanche
An
innocent looking hill
Turns
deadly in one quick second
A
heart-stopping rumble
An
earth-shattering roar
The
sound of death is heard
As
the snow turns into a flash flood
Racing
towards unsuspecting skiers
Looking
up in horror, too late
Blinded,
falling victim to the beast
The
roaring lion
Has already eaten its prey
